(AP) -- LSU's Glenn Dorsey won the Lott Trophy on Sunday, topping off a week full of individual honors for the Tigers' defensive tackle. Dorsey won the award honoring on-field performance and personal character among defensive players. It capped a banner week for Dorsey, who won the Bronco Nagurski Award as the nation's top defensive player, as well as the Outland Trophy, the Lombardi Award, and Southeastern Conference defensive player of the year. ADVERTISEMENT The 6-foot-2, 303-pound senior beat out finalists James Laurinaitis of Ohio State, J Leman of Illinois and Chris Long of Virginia. Dorsey finished the season with 64 tackles, six sacks and 11 1/2 tackles for a loss, even though he played the last five games with a sore right knee. The award is named for Hall of Fame defensive back Ronnie Lott, who starred for Southern California and the San Francisco 49ers. Lott presented the trophy to Dorsey at the Pacific Club.

Yeah and the way things are going right now in KC, we should be in good position to grab him with our 1st Round Pick. Right now it looks like the Chiefs possibly will be drafting in the Top 5. The question remains, do they go after the likes of Dorsey, or a solid OT in Jake Long or give up on Croyle and go after a QB??? I think the answer may be determined by whether CP is still in town.
