Ok here is the thread for the Chiefs next game. It will be the home finally as the Chiefs look to end their 6 game losing streak at home against the Tennessee Titans this Sunday at noon. I will provide matchup and statistical preview in the upcoming days. As last week, I ask that you make your prediction on who the Chiefs' Player of the Game. Last week their was only 2 predictions given and we were both incorrect as Tony G earned the 1st ever Chiefs Nation Player of the Game honor.

www.kansascity.com/sports/chiefs/story/406237.htmlChiefs lose seventh straightBy KENT BABB The Kansas City Star It looked familiar, felt familiar, was familiar. The Kansas City Chiefs had a halftime lead Sunday, and again they lost. It was the sixth time in seven weeks the Chiefs lost after having a lead or being tied at halftime. The scenario was the same, but the winner was different, this time it was the Tennessee Titans with a 26-17 win in front of an announced crowd of 74,976 at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs have lost seven in a row, including five in a row at home, and have done little during the streak to suggest they can avoid their worst season finish in 30 years. The Chiefs, who have not won since an Oct. 21 game against the Oakland Raiders, are 4-10. If they do not win one of their final two games, the Chiefs will surpass the futility of the 1977 team, which lost its final six games, the franchise's worst finish. The Chiefs led 14-13 at halftime. But they scored 3 points in the second half and watched while Titans quarterback Vince Young found his groove and led three consecutive scoring drives. There were bright spots, sure. That's what coach Herm Edwards preached all week. And sure, there is time to finish on a high note. But forget that the final two contests are road games. The Chiefs have done little to suggest they have the talent or desire to win here, there or anywhere. One of the bright spots was the Chiefs' offensive line, which allowed quarterback Brodie Croyle time to complete 25 of 43 passes for 217 yards and two touchdowns. But it was Croyle who rushed a pass in the third quarter, and it was Michael Griffin who intercepted it. The Titans finished that series with a field goal, the second of three consecutive scoring drives. Croyle, who threw another interception in the fourth quarter, had touchdown passes to Samie Parker (10 yards) and Kris Wilson (9).

Call me crazy, but in yet another pitiful showing by our beloved Chiefs, this week I am gonna go with Brodie Croyle as the Player of the Game. Brodie, dispite throwing 2 INTs had his best performance in the NFL to date against the Titans going 25-43 (58.1%) with 2 TD and 2 INT.
Kolby Smith had yet another good day for a back who entered the season 3rd on the depth chart chipping in 82 yards on 18 carries. Smith is now 2nd on the team with 346 yards and 2 TD, which are pretty good numbers considering he has gained all of his yards and TDs in his 4 starts this season. LJ, the team leader in rushing yards (559) and rushing TD (3) gained all his numbers in 8 games. So when comparing the 2 backs in games they started LJ is averaging 69.9 yards per game to go along with 3.5 yards per carry and Smith is averaging 81.8 yards yards per game and 3.9 yards per carry.
I forgot to cast my vote for this week, but the only votes that were sumitted was for: D-Bowe who finished with 5 catches for 64 yards Jared Allen who finished the day with 6 total tackles(5 unassisted and 1 assisted) and 0 sacks.
