Atlanta won a coin toss with Oakland this morning for the third pick in the draft. Had Oakland won the flip, there would have been a second toss between the Falcons and the Chiefs for the fourth pick. But because of tie-breakers, the Raiders will pick fourth, the Chiefs fifth and New York Jets sixth. The fifth pick is the highest the Chiefs have selected since they selected Derrick Thomas with the fourth pick of the 1989 draft. In rounds two through seven, the four teams that finished 4-12 last season -- Atlanta, Oakland, Kansas City and the New York Jets -- will rotate positions. So the Chiefs would have the fourth pick of the second round, the third pick in the third round and sixth pick in the fourth round.
