Now the Denver Nuggets know that, too. Kleiza showed his old Tiger form Thursday night, scoring a career-high 41 points as the Denver Nuggets beat the Utah Jazz 120-109 on Thursday night. Kleiza had 36 at the end of the third quarter, when the Nuggets held a 98-88 lead. He scored nine in the period, helping Denver grab a lead as large as 13 points. The Nuggets quickly extended the lead in the fourth when J.R. Smith scored four straight points and fed Marcus Camby for a give-and-go dunk that made it 106-91 early in the period. The Jazz never got closer than 13 the rest of the way, and Denver led by as many as 21. Kleiza’s previous career high of 29 came March 15 against the Los Angeles Lakers. Denver also got 28 points from Allen Iverson and 23 points from Carmelo Anthony. Camby had 24 rebounds and 11 blocks.
