www.kansascity.com/167/story/460608.htmlMissouri at ColoradoThe Kansas City Star When/where: 3 p.m., Saturday, Coors Event Center, Boulder, Co. TV/radio: KMCI (Kansas City); KMBZ (980 AM). About Colorado (9-9, 1-3): Richard Roby is back. He scored 27 points for the third time this season in a home loss to Kansas State. That doesn’t mean the Buffaloes, as a team, are any better. CU hit only 17 of 45 shots against KSU, 37.8 percent. And, if Missouri puts CU on the line, at least the Buffs may not be able to take advantage that much. In 31 trips against KSU, Colorado hit 17 free throws. About Missouri (11-8, 1-3): Could Missouri establish a dubious new school free throw record? Two games ago the Tigers put Kansas on the line 45 times. On Wednesday MU put Texas Tech there 50 times. Fifty five is the record for free throws attempted by an MU opponent. . . Just a guess, but here’s betting Keon Lawrence replaces Matt Lawrence in the starting lineup. Keon, who tied a career high with 24 points at Texas Tech, is the only reason that game was close at the end. Matt looks almost frightened to take a three, which is the only reason he’s on the floor for MU. To hit them, that is. Bottom line: If Missouri doesn’t get its first true road victgory over the season at Colorado, it may not get one. These are two teams battling for the bottom in the Big 12. And there is no clear indication of which team will finish there, only that either could. You want a prediction? No way. Although Missouri beat CU twice a year ago.
