Tiller (Marietta, Ga. / Wheeler) was named the Big 12 Conferences co-Player of the Week on Monday by the league office. Tiller shared the honor with Nebraska senior Aleks Maric. The Marietta, Ga., native earned a pair of starts for the short-handed Tigers last week and averaged 17.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists in leading Mizzou to a 77-74 win over No. 22 Kansas State and a narrow defeat to Nebraska. Tiller opened the week with a then career high 14 points and a career high eight rebounds on 7-of-15 shooting vs. Nebraska, before leading the Tigers to the upset win against K-State. Against the Wildcats, Tiller poured in a career high 20 points on 7-of-13 shooting. He scored the team's final five points, including a conventional three-point play to give Missouri its first lead in the final minutes and buried both ends of a one-and-one with just six seconds left to lift the Tigers to that 77-74 final margin. Tiller and the Tigers return to action tonight at Kansas. The contest will be televised nationally as part of ESPN's Big Monday broadcast.
