www.columbiatribune.com/2008/Feb/20080210Spor011.aspHannah’s status same after arrestBy STEVE WALENTIK of the Tribune’s staff Published Sunday, February 10, 2008 Missouri senior guard Stefhon Hannah’s status with the team was unchanged after his arrest Friday on suspicion of third-degree assault for his role in the Jan. 27 altercation that left him with a fractured jaw. "Right now, he’s still suspended indefinitely," MU Coach Mike Anderson said yesterday. Anderson said he wasn’t sure if Hannah was still in Columbia after being released on a signature bond on Friday afternoon. He said he hadn’t spoken to Hannah since his arrest. "The last time I had communication was with his mother, and he was scheduled to be in school Monday," Anderson said. "I think he has" a doctor’s "appointment this week." Hannah had spent most of the past two weeks in Chicago since undergoing surgery for the injury, which is expected to keep him out for four to six weeks. Anderson was asked to explain why Hannah remains suspended if senior guard Jason Horton, who was arrested for a similar role in the same altercation, has been allowed back on the floor after missing two games. "He’s hurt right now," Anderson said of Hannah. "To me, that’s the biggest difference right now. Jason’s here, and so Jason had a chance to serve that suspension."
